Go to Chicago, IL on Saturday March 16, 2019 to enjoy the dyeing of the Chicago River. The river will turn from blue to a bright green in honor of St. Patrick's Day. There will also be a parade in downtown Chicago to celebrate the holiday.
Three-leaved shamrocks and the color green are synonymous with St. Patrick's Day. If a person is not wearing green, you are allowed to pinch them but not too hard.
